GCSE Maths Tuition

GCSE Maths is one of the most important subjects your child will encounter during their school years. Achieving a good grade in this subject is essential for their future academic and career prospects. My GCSE Maths tuition is designed to ensure that your child fully understands the curriculum, covering topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and trigonometry.

Many students find certain aspects of the GCSE Maths curriculum particularly challenging. That’s where I come in, providing clear, step-by-step explanations and plenty of practice questions to help them build confidence. My goal is to ensure that your child not only passes their GCSE but excels in it, giving them the foundation they need for future success. Here are the other tutoring services we provide:

11+ Exam Preparation

The 11+ exam is a crucial entry point for students hoping to attend grammar schools or selective schools. It is a challenging exam that requires thorough preparation in subjects such as maths, English, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning.

I offer targeted 11+ exam preparation sessions that focus on the specific skills your child’s needs to succeed. Using practice papers, timed exercises, and mock exams, we work together to ensure that your child is familiar with the exam format and fully prepared for the big day. By the time your child sits for their 11+ exam, they will have the confidence and skills to perform at their best.

Pricing

I offer tuition in person – either on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis – at my office: 518 Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH11 8PT. Larger group sessions can be available upon request (price TBD).

I also offer exam practice for 11+ students in the summer time. These are group sessions with a maximum of 8 students.

1:1 sessions

£40 per hour

4 sessions can be purchased at £140 which equates to £35 per hour

2:1 sessions

£25 per person per hour

11+ mock exams

£35 per mock exam

Over a 3 hour period

GCSE Maths exams

£45 per mock exam

Over a 3 hour period, but would be both calculator and non-calculator exams
