I was born and raised in Bournemouth, so I have a keen awareness of the surrounding schools and their curriculum. Throughout my extensive teaching history, I have taught in various schools, which have provided me with invaluable learning techniques; which has helped me create a successful tuition business. I have been a full-time tutor for the past 2 years.
I offer 1:1 and 2:1 tuition for Maths at all stages, as well as 11+ exam preparation; this includes Verbal & Non Verbal reasoning and English lessons. I teach from Key Stage 1 up to Key Stage 4, but I also offer tuition to adults looking to re-sit their GCSE Maths. Alongside this, I have expertise in studying for Grammar school entry exams. During the main exam season (May-September) I offer mock exam environments to give your child an understanding of what to expect when the real exam takes place. This is vital to ensure that their nerves don’t get in the way of great results!

All lessons are delivered from my office, which is situated on Wallisdown Road. If alternative provisions need to be made, please contact me directly to discuss what options are available for you and your child.
Pricing
I offer tuition in person – either on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis – at my office: 518 Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH11 8PT. Larger group sessions can be available upon request (price TBD).
I also offer exam practice for 11+ students in the summer time. These are group sessions with a maximum of 8 students.

4 sessions can be purchased at £140 which equates to £35 per hour
2:1 sessions
£25 per person per hour
11+ mock exams
£35 per mock exam
Over a 3 hour period
GCSE Maths exams
£45 per mock exam
Over a 3 hour period, but would be both calculator and non-calculator exams
Jerome has changed Will’s view on maths and this is shown by the fact Will has gone up by a grade in his Mocks and his teacher in our recent parents evening commented on how incredible the change is in Will and is very proud of him and acknowledged the support he has had outside of school from his tutor.

My son had 1-1 maths tutoring with Jerome from January until 11+ day. In that time, he came on leaps and bounds, not just in his 11+ practice, but at school also where he went from ‘Expected’ to ‘Advanced’ in just a few months. He always looked forward to the sessions, as Jerome takes the time to get to know the child, and how to get the best out of them. Nearer the time, Jerome also spent time going through English and Verbal Reasoning with my son, focusing on weaker areas and ensuring he was prepared for the exam. My son passed (which was by no means a given!) and is looking forward to starting at Poole Grammar this September. I would absolutely recommend Jerome, especially if your son or daughter needs some 1-1 coaching in certain areas.
